VM2023 is a Ground Event and therefore this advisory is of utmost importance. While these are not restrictions as experienced during the pandemic Vadodara Marathon advises ALL participants/spectators to ensure they exercise safe practices to self protect, and therefore also help within the community by stemming any such illnesses. Half Marathon: Start Line, Mile 6.Due to the ongoing global/national alert on new variants of Covid-19 and the potential threat to the population, the Health Ministry of the Government of India have been issuing various statements and alerts on all media formats to exercise caution and restart the key self protection processes to protect oneself i.e.- wearing masks indoors/outdoors, certainly staying masked in crowded places, washing hands frequently and exercising caution & alertness at all times. If you want to follow along in real-time, they will need to enable GPS tracking (instructions below).įull Marathon: Start Line, Miles 6.38, 11.74, 13.1, 19.9, 25.2, and the Finish Line Tracking uses the expected pace the participant submitted when they registered to estimate their location along the course. Anyone who is tracking another participant will get notifications at these points. We will have mats at the locations listed below for each event. When you enable GPS tracking and you carry your phone with you during the event, your position on the LiveTracking course map will be accurate within a few meters.I nstructions: Select “Notify Me” to receive updates (make sure push notifications are turned on).Select the participant that you want to track.
